This information about accessible entrance/s is provided on a best endeavours basis only. Learning Space Support does not have any expertise in the accessibility of physical spaces, which we respect as a specialist domain of knowledge. Within the limits of our expertise, we have endeavoured to indicate which venues have accessible entrances. In some instances, while venue entrances may be accessible, it may not be possible to access all parts of the room, and we acknowledge this.
As a general rule, most lecture theatres north of Grattan Street were designed and built to reflect earlier standards of accessibility which may not always meet current expectations. In most of these theatres, a student in a wheelchair will have the option to place themselves either at the front of the theatre, if the entrance is near the front, or, at the back of the theatre, if the entrance is at the rear.
We would be very pleased to receive any corrections or additional information that you consider that we should provide (please email email@example.com).
